Readers of Better Photography magazine will have seen Tony Bridge's articles in the magazine - and Tony and Lindsay Keats are mates, hence the connection and this little promotion.

Has a photography workshop to India ever interested you? Would you like to take your travel and environmental portrait photography to the next level? Lindsay Keats, a New Zealand professional photographer and a Fujifilm X Photographer, is running a small group workshop to India in mid January 2024.

The tour will be limited to 8 participants. Lindsay has run workshops to Chatham Islands, run numerous camera club workshops and has assisted National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry with workshops in India and Thailand. This will be his 7th trip to India.

The workshop will commence in Delhi, then travel to Agra, Varanasi and Kolkata. You will have the opportunity to photograph people at work, worship and everything in between. You will gain confidence in approaching a stranger and taking a photograph you will be proud of for many years to come.

Lindsay will be assisted by local Kolkata photographer, Shivam, who knows the locations intimately and will act as an interpreter. Both Lindsay and Shivam will be available at all times to give advice and assistance.

Says Lindsay, "India is an incredible place. The warmth of the people and the beautiful chaos is something that every photographer should experience".
